• You must have held a Full New Zealand Class 1 car drivers licence for 2 years before being eligible to apply for a Passenger Endorsement.
• Get a Medical Certificate for Driver Licence from any Doctor (not required if you have already produced one for driver licensing purposes in the last 5 years).
• Complete and lodge your DL20 Application for P endorsement form. Download here: http://www.nzta.govt.nz/resources/application-for-endorsement-dl20/docs/dl20.pdf
• Note: It will take NZTA about 8 weeks to process your application. The sooner you lodge your application, the sooner you get on the road.

• Pay the fee.
• We will send you the Study Guides and call to confirm your course dates

Course Dates

There are 2 unit standards to be completed:

• P Endorsement (US 17579) is delivered every Tuesday
• Logbook (US 24089) is delivered every Wednesday

9 am sharp. Finish around 4pm each day. Bring your lunch.

Certificates

• On satisfactory completion of the course you will receive a NZTA course completion certificate. This is not the actual licence
• You take the certificate to VTNZ or the AA and pay a fee to have the endorsement attached to your drivers licence. You pay for 1 year (188.40) or 5 years ($486.00).They will book you in to do your car driving test - unless you have done a driving test in the previous 5. If so, you can deduct $86.60 from those fee options.)
